Major Wall Street indices opened higher on Monday, backed by Apple, as investors shrugged off reports last week that Washington was considering canceling the listing of Chinese companies from US stock exchanges .
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 32.08 points, or 0.12% to 26852.33 points, and the S&P 500 index opened up 5.28 points or 0.18% to 2967.07 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 24.46 points or 0.31% to 7964.09 points .
